Where it all began…

Russ and Lisa met on the island when Lisa was on holiday with friends and Russ was spending a summer working for the Water sports.  

The couple fell in love with each other and the place, finding time over the years to visit and maintain their friendships on the island. It was important to plan a wedding that was as much for their friends and family from the UK as the friends who feel like family on Kos.

Their wedding was joyful and personal. They married with toes in the sand on the beach with ceremony performed by the local officiant and made personal to the surprise of the guests by a hilarious and heartfelt service given by a close friend.

The wedding meal and party took place at Avli restaurant Kardamena set in the original pink flowered courtyard  of a traditional Greek house. A perfect outdoor setting that lends itself to eating, drinking, dancing and celebrating. The venue was exclusive and the evening ended with an awe inspiring firework display.
